Kulshan Guiding Collective - Team

Our Guides

In addition to our certifications and accreditations, all of us are active members of The Bellingham Mountain Rescue Council. We have had dozens of successful rescues in the same terrain we guide. Serving our community is an important part of who we are.

Harrison Brickman

Lead guide

I’m a certified Canadian Ski Guide and Avalanche Risk Manager. I have spent my entire adult life involved in the ski industry. Guiding work has taken me to multiple mountain ranges and countries. These days Bellingham, Washington is home. In addition to guiding, I work as a mountain safety consultant, rope rescue instructor, and I serve as the Vice President of Bellingham Mountain Rescue. My passion is making others safer in the mountains. I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you, as we ski and climb in the beautiful North Cascades.

Assistant Guide

Hi, my name is Ryan, and I’m a Bellingham-based guide. I grew up skiing in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and I even skied there as a member of the UC Berkeley alpine ski team. These days, the North Cascades is home, and I really enjoy the deep snowpack and dynamic terrain these mountains offer.
