Mount Baker's fifteen separate glaciers are our workplace. Making others safer in the mountains is our most essential value. We look forward to teaching you new skills and giving you memorable experiences in some of North America's most unique terrain.
Course
Held in the Heather Meadows area, just beside Mount Baker Ski Resort. This three-day course covers the basics for safe and efficient recreational ski touring. The goal of this course is to provide participants with tools to make a well-reasoned tour plan. We will go over terrain selection, pacing and spacing, what to bring, who to call, and a whole lot more.

Course
Held on the north side of Mount Baker, this four-day course covers the basics of ski mountaineering: crevasse rescue, roped glacier travel, belay techniques, and winter camping. This is an entry-level course, no prior glaciated skiing experience is required.
Are you an active member of a volunteer or professional SAR team, a Police Officer, Firefighter, practicing EMT, or Paramedic? If so, we are pleased to offer you a 20% discount on all courses and experiences.

Couloirs, Pillows, and New Skills. Held in the Mount Baker Ski Area backcountry, the focus of this three-day course is hard charging skiing and refining your steep skiing skills. This course is designed for advanced-level skiers and splitboarders with good physical fitness.
